Welcome to the for Echo Coulee Guest Ranch. We are a fully functioning
Cattle Ranch. Experience our western hospitality and the breathtaking
views from our ranch. Situated overlooking the Drumheller Valley in the
heart of the Canadian Badlands.
Experience the life of a cattle rancher in the scenic Drumheller Valley area. Ride with your hosts checking the herd at calving, branding or weaning or participate in driving the cattle to new pasture through out the year.
Rides to check fence and water holes will take you through coulees, the wintering hills and along the Drumheller Valley.
The ranch runs approximately;150 cows and a herd of 20+ quarter horses, bred and trained for cattle work. All our riding horses are quiet experienced cow horses.
Watch the young colts being trained, or learn and participate in the sport of cattle penning. Many of the young horses raised and started at the ranch have become accomplished cow horses.
We welcome non-riders as well; the hiking trails are unforgettable with a wide variety of birds and wildlife. The ranch house has all the modern amenities. The guest rooms are rustically furnished with queen sized log beds and semi private bathrooms. Enjoy home cooked, hearty meals and great conversation.
